Easter In Paris: The Rest of the Trip

As you can imagine, the rest of our Paris trip was not nearly as dramatic as our first day, so I will just give you the highlights (and some pictures for the grandparents).

Thursday

• Took the Metro to the Eiffel Tower but didn't wait in the 2 hour queue to go to the top.

• Saw MasterChef filming in front of the Hotel des Invalides.

• Went to the Musee Rodin.

• Explored the Musee d'Orsay.

Friday

• Met our new French friends, David and Florence, at the Sacre Coeur for the Good Friday Stations of the Cross Service.

• Had lunch with David and Florence at a cafe in Montmartre.

• Went to the Louvre with David.

Saturday

• Went to the Palace of Versailles for the day.

Sunday

• Took the Metro to the Pantheon, and we visited the crypt where Voltaire, Rousseau and Victor Hugo are buried.

• Took a boat ride on the Seine.

• Walked along the Champs-Elysees and saw the Arc de Triomphe.

• Ate the best ice cream in the world at Berthillion on the Ile Saint-Louis.
